Northfield Skating School

Earlier this year, the Northfield Skating School partnered with the City of Northfield to increase access to arena programs and events for the 2009-10 season. Reidell rental skates are now available at the Northfield Arena for the first time!

Rental skates will be available to all skaters on a first-come first-served basis during open skate times and special events. Skaters wishing to use skates for Northfield Skating School lessons can reserve them on their registration form, first-come first-served, as supplies last.

NSS Rental Policy for Lessons:

To request rentals, please list skater’s shoe size on the registration form. Skates will be reserved first-come first-served based on receipt of registration and lesson payment. Skates are $18 per skater per session payable to the arena during Lesson 1. Skaters who do not pay for rentals during Lesson 1 will lose their reservation. If there are no longer skates available in your size, skaters should be prepared to purchase or borrow skates before their lessons begin.

We intend to build our skate supply as time goes on, and are currently accepting skate donations for rentals! To donate skates please contact us or the Northfield Arena. Skates can be dropped off at the Northfield Arena between 8am and 4pm M-F. They can be dropped off any time the arena is open.
