Skating Scholarships

Part of our mission is to “Collaborate with local organizations to increase programs and access to skating.” As a member of the Northfield Youth Sports Collaborative, we provide scholarships to skaters who qualify. Our scholarship fundraisers (Spirit Night, Applebees Pancake Breakfast, and Culver’s 10% Deal) are essential to maintaining this program.

To apply for scholarship: Families with an active Community Action Center number may list the number on the regsitration form to apply for a scholarship.  Families must contact Sharon Vangness at the Northfield Community Action Center to confirm eligibility. Scholarships cover the cost of one session of group lessons and are subject to a co-payment from the family directly to the CAC to support the scholarship fund. Scholarships apply to group lessons only and must be received by the registration deadline.  All registrations, including scholarships, are accepted after the deadline only if space permits – please turn your forms in on time! Eligibility for a CAC number is based on income level and residence within the Northfield School District.
