How many miles can you skate? Improve your fitness with our weekly lap class. Includes instruction with NSS and Professional Skaters Association Instructor Melanie Ritz. Meets during Friday lunch hour (12:00 – 12:45) beginning in January. This class is a collaboration with the Northfield Area YMCA and is open to YMCA members and non-members, and skaters of all levels, including beginners! Child care available through the YMCA at the Armory. Please note that this is a fitness class and not a skill-specific class, so the focus will be on stamina and form rather than specific skating skills. Skating skills from the U.S. Figure Skating curriculum are taught in our Sunday afternoon adult group lessons.
